5Love this item!  Jan 08, 2009 By L. Lazzuri
I ordered this item because my 23 month old now wants to sit at the table like a big girl. There were no reviews on this item when I ordered it, so I took a risk buying it, and couldn't be happier. It was very simple to "install", and I had it installed, with my daughter sitting in it, in no more than five minutes. It has a smooth surface, which makes it easy to clean, and is very comfortable for her since it is a firm foam cushion. Unlike many of the booster seats similar to this one, it has a safety belt to strap her into, along with straps to secure it around the bottom and back of the chair. The straps snap off easily enough for the parent to take it off the chair, therefore it is portable as well. (If you decide that you don't want the harness for the child, it is easily removed.) It has little rubber "nubbies" on the bottom to keep it from sliding on the chair, so those, combined with the straps, make it a very safe and sturdy alternative to a high chair. It sits the child high enough to reach the table comfortably, but is also low enough that the chair can be pushed under the table when table time is over. I posted a few pictures, and hope that this is helpful to other parents who have to try to swim through the sea of booster seats available nowadays!

5cleaning is a cinch  Jul 06, 2010 By Amanda B. Wright
Great booster. For those of you concerned about the cleaning or that the straps do not detach for cleaning, merely flip the booster upside down and put it in your dishwasher on gentle or normal.. Will come out as clean as the day you bought it.

3Not so easy to clean  Aug 16, 2009 By R. M. Burns
This is a good booster. Very soft and cushiony though you wouldn't think it. My daughter loves it. The only problem I have with it (and being a Mom it's a pretty big problem) is that the straps don't come off to throw in the wash. The straps on our highchair would and I guess if I hadn't had that option before it wouldn't be such a big thing but these can get pretty filthy if you have a messy eater like my daughter. Also the holes where the straps come through can get milk and other stuff down in them and it's impossible to get out. I had to have one with the straps though with since ours won't stay put while eating if she has the choice. All in all it's decent and my husband likes it a lot (since he doesn't care about the cleaning of it) and the color (pink/chocolate) is really cute. Not cheaply made either, very sturdy. Just wish the straps could come off for cleaning.

1Not At All Happy w/ This  Nov 15, 2009 By Kay M. Porter
When I looked online I really was excited about this booster, but it's been horrible for me. My number one complaint is that it is absolutely uncleanable. The straps for the buckle do NOT remove. I was used to a seat that you could simply pull them out and wash them separately. With this one, you can only wipe them, but I think we all know how well that works. Plus, because there are slits where the straps come out from under the seat, food gets stuck inside and it's horrible!! Also, adjusting the straps is miserable. The way they are teathered makes them more less apt to slip, but also makes adjusting a nightmare. I just left it loose because I could get it any tighter. I think the comfort level is fine and it's obviously asthetically appealing. I did read what someone else said in their review about the height of the seat not fitting under the table. I decided to give it a try and they are absolutely right. With my daughter sitting in it you can't push it under. You can push it close and it works, but it's not how it's designed to work. Overall I'm extremely dissapointed esp. after reading such great reviews, but this did not work at all for us! Now I'm off to find another one...

1STRAPS TOO SHORT  Sep 13, 2010 By TX Mom
My only problem with the chair (aside from the terrible retro color options!) is that the straps are TOO SHORT to fit around the average chair. We have normal sized chairs and the straps that fasten around the bottom of the chair and through the back slats of the chair are simply too short to come together to latch.

I called the company several times, and they acknowledged that this is a big problem that they are trying to fix. Supposedly they have "extension straps" that the woman said would be sent to me. It is now **THREE MONTHS** later, and we still cannot use this chair! I have called the company numerous times and was told that they were having a lot of returns of the extension straps because the snaps/buckles were not the same and would not work with the hardware on the boosterpods. I am so frustrated right now since the original box was destroyed in shipping, so I cannot return the chair to amazon.com to get the refund. It sits unused in our garage, and was a total waste of money.

I'm very disappointed since it is soft, and looks like a nice design. My two year old REALLY wants to use it, but it is not safe to use without it being attached to the dining room chair. I would not recommend using this without the straps, as a child, even a bigger one, could easily fall out of it.
