Horrible Waste of Money Jun 03, 2010 By Jennifer
I had such high hopes for this product... but it is flimsy, cheap, and utterly poor. It is absolute highway robbery to be charged $30 (plus shipping!) for something that should not cost more than $5 at a garage sale (and could not cost more than a few dollars to make). It is light, true... because it is paper-thin and totally fragile. The legs are shaky and cannot possibly support a small laptop - my laptop simply slid off and crashed onto the table. Also, the leg locking mechanism does not work AT ALL. The thing shakes like a leaf and collapses the second you put something on top of it. Even if you could get your laptop to stay on it - the mouse tray is at an uncomfortable angle, and even the cupholder is too small to put even a standard cup inside. Even better, the width is such that you would have to be a small child to position it over your lap comfortably.
I am actually insulted that the company thought it could rip people off with this product. Do not waste your time and money! The worst laptop table EVER!

Did not meet the expectation Jun 22, 2010 By GAP
I am disappointed on reading the specification and the images. Couple of things to note before you buy this product-

Pros: Good design, very light

Cons:
1) Legs does not extend farther than the desk as shown in the pics i-e, you can't widen the stand more than 15". For most of them, you can't fit your legs within the pair of lap-legs.
2) if you are a person who can type more than 45 words per minute, the entire lap desk will shake.
3) Always you have a feel that it is going to bend or break.
4) Mouse does not sit on the side rack (no grip), it always fall down.

I bought this today from ebay for $25 and will use it for a month or two and come back and write my comments.

Excellent little laptop table. Handy to use in bed, or on the go. The adjustable angle top makes it convenient to adjust for many viewing angles.

The aluminum is thick, similar to aircraft aluminum, and looks like it should hold up well.

The metal ridge at the bottom which holds the laptop in place sticks up a bit against my wrists, but only by about 2mm or so. I'm using it with a netbook, on a normal thickness laptop it's probably not an issue.

In order to fit in my tiny laptop bag, I did have to unscrew the mousepad from the side. I should be able fit thumbscrews just fine though for quick removal/attachment. Overall it's surprising how compact the table gets, while remaining so sturdy.

This was a great idea that didn't pan out for me. I bought this product for my mother who spends a lot of time on her laptop and has issue with the ergonomics of the way she uses it. The thought behind this item was great , the manufacturing not so great. The legs would not lock in place no matter how much fiddling you did with them, and the thing just simply stood too tall to be comfortable. The build quality wasn't great. I think if they went back to the drawing board to tweak a few things and improve build quality(I would pay more for this)this could be a winner of an idea!

The design looked great but the construction seemed to be flimsy. One of he leg s locking tab broke upon opening the unit the first time. Better construction would make it more usable.
