I got this spinner for my mother-in-law and she loves it. The three sets of blades rotate at their own pace so it makes it different to look at each time I see it. This is ten-fold better than others I purchased before. It has held up very good for last several months and I think it will last many years.

I bought this for my back deck so that I can look outside and see something colorful during the long grey winter. It is truly beautiful, I am enchanted by the spinning rainbow colors, that are particularly lovely when the sun shines through it. It's easy to put together (there are indeed instructions that come with it, unlike what is said in another review), and quite sturdy. I recommend it!

Fun to look at, brightens the garden in all seasons, and makes a great gift. I have two different twirlies in my garden that I received last year as gifts. Here in southern California they are 5 STAR if you put them where they don't get too much wind. Mine have been spinning 24/7 since Christmas, and I just ordered some as Xmas gifts this year for friends and relatives.
IMPORTANT: I sent one as a birthday gift to a friend in northern CA where it's much windier. Ooops! She had to get out the super glue to glue on the little black cap that holds the spinners on. The cap isn't threaded, and the pressure of the vigourous spinning can make the cap pop off.
After a very high wind (30+ mph), some of the petals blew off her spinner. Superglue to the rescue. If you live in a very windy area, do put the spinner in a more rather than less sheltered location.
4 STAR for no threads and occasional use of superglue in super windy areas. 5 STAR for fun and for brightening up the yard.
