4Aosom is Pretty Awesome  Jun 02, 2009 By Bull
I recently purchased this bike trailer after researching several of the other mid-range 2-in-1 Double bike trailers. This one has all the features of the others and more, but does have a few short-comings.
PROS:
1. It's one of the roomier models for two children
2. It has a full front wheel attachment for Stroller/Jogger mode and has an included hand brake
3. It has two adjustable 5-point harnesses that work as intended
4. It has a nicely cushioned seat, and extra protection under the footbed to reduce tears
5. It has 20" outrigger style wheels that roll smoothly and easily
6. You can buy additonal couplers for multiple bikes
7. The protective covers attach securely with Velcro in multiple places and it has an ample rear storage area
8. The bike tow bar tucks neatly under the trailer when in Jogger mode
9. The Jogger bar can remain attached with wheel in storage area if preferred
10. It is priced lower than comparable brands/models
11. It is well-made, uses good hardware and materials and looks great

CONS:
1. In Jogger mode with two children inside it can tip backwards if not attended due to center of gravity being directly over axle and backrest angle
2. The coupler will not fit as intended on bikes with quick-release wheels. The coupler is designed to fit rear axles that are held on by screw nuts. (Note: I was able to mount it another way via disc brake mounting holes at left rear frame arm)
3. The seat is directly over the axle and although it is nicely padded it causes the passenger(s) to be leaned forward a bit
4. The backrest forces the passenger(s) head forward when wearing a helmet which may be uncomfortable on long rides
5. The flag that comes with it is wimpy and flimsy, but is an easy upgrade

All in all I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Mainly for the fact that it won't attach to all bike frames easily and can tip in Jogger mode if unattended with passengers (which i don't recommend anyway). Compared to the competition (which also have similar drawbacks) the Aosom 2-in-1 Double Bike Trailer is well worth the price, and has some great features and excellent build quality.

5Perfect for us!  Jul 17, 2009 By Amber Meadows
I'm not an experienced biker, so I didn't want to spend a fortune on a bike trailer, but I didn't want to waste money on a low-end model either. This one works perfectly for us. I bike for exercise and wanted to be able to take my two boys (ages 4 and 2) with me. They love it! They're small enough that they don't need a ton of room - my 4 year old tells me that he's very comfortable :) The cargo space in the back is very nice, plus there are small pockets on the inside for the kids to hold a book or something. I think it's sturdy constuction and I feel that they'll be safe in it. I've only used it once as a stoller (I don't go running), but I thought it was just fine. It's pretty easy to switch from bike trailer to jogging stoller. I spent so much time researching trailers and I'm really glad we settled on this one - it's been great!

3Nice Bicycle Trailer But...  Feb 07, 2010 By R. M. Williamson
Trailer seems well constructed and was fairly easy to assemble. The assembly instructions could have been more helpful. I read in a previous review that there had been a problem with a tire going flat soon after first use. I experienced the same issue. It appears the plastic protection tape inside the rim was not positioned correctly to prevent the spoke nut from rubbing a hole in the inner tube... I was able to pick up a new inner tube at Kmart for about $6. I removed the tire and tube from both the 20" wheels and wrapped the inner part of the rim with electrician's tape. I've not experienced any further problems since. If you decide to purchase one, you might want to do the same before inflating the tires during assembly... Otherwise, my granddaughter loves the new ride...

5Best bike trailer around!  Aug 10, 2009 By C. Hendricks
After a lot of research, I've very glad we bought this bike trailer. I've used a couple different kinds of trailers and this is by far the best. It has sturdy wheels...no plastic, clear windows for my daughter to see out of, a great storage space...and best of all it converts to a stroller really easily. I can't believe we got such a nice trailer/stroller for only $150. Models that have similar features and stability are closer to 300 to 500 dollars. It really is a must buy!

4good product but a few catches  Mar 25, 2010 By walter wilkes "fujiguy"
So earlier review turned out to spot on...especially with regard to the problems with the tires going flat immedietely upon first inflation...knowing this i was able to take the tires off and wrap over the liner a few times with electical tape...otherwise the rim liner would not have protected the tires from punctures from the back of the spokes. It took an extra 30 minutes work to put together because of this. Also earlier reviews said the assembly instructions were very poor. This is true....but if you have the slightest bit of handiness you can figure the snap together parts of it very easily. The brakes are a bit trickier...but for this part the instructions were sufficient. It helps if you've ever changed your own bike tire or set a brake line. If those two jobs scare you..then don't buy this product. If you can get past that though the bike works wonderfully. It's comfortable for my three year old and one year old to ride together. It rides so smooth it's hardly noticeable behind the bike. I love it and they love it...and it works great as a stroller much better even than regular strollers. One really really strange observation however....one of the large tires was marked (correctly) max. 35 psi and the other same size but opposite side tire was marked (incorrectly) max 300 psi..yes thats right i said 300 psi. I'm just glad i had a stitch of common sense about bicycles before i bought this product. Thanks to the earlier reviews i have an overall good experience...buy stay away if you can't pull and replace a bike tire. Otherwise enjoy!
